What can you do to support AIDS Walk St Petersburg?
Team Matt LaRoche is honored to contribute and be apart of such a special cause. My brother Matt, returned home to heaven on September 22,2007. We were blessed with him for 23 years. Although, what caused him to leave this world was totaly unrelated to AIDS, his heart and soul while here was very dedicated to finding a cure for the epidemic, and educating people about it. He graduated top 10% of his class of 2006 at USF. He was then invited to work for the Aaron Diamond Aids Research Center in NYC. Matt always felt so proud to be apart of such an amazing establishment. He was fortunate to do clinicals and lab studies along side of internationally known scientists in the Aids research field. We lost our Uncle Mike in 1993, to AIDS. On Matt's myspace page he said if he could meet anyone who would it be, and he put "my Uncle Mike. This walk is for both of them. To help in what Matt so passionately fought to find a cure for, and for what my Uncle Mike suffered through. We love them both, and will do our best to help with this very important cause. Although we won't be able to see them, they will be walking with us.....
